  • Hans G. Schmidt

    As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Schmidt brings over 40 years of oil and gas investment and related financial experience. Some of that experience and his achievements include:

    • VP and Head of Research for an institutionally focused brokerage serving clients in the eastern U.S. and Canada
    • Chairman and CEO of a North American focused private oil and gas company from 1974-1990 (overseeing its growth to 2P reserves of 215 MMbbls of oil and 155 Bcf of natural gas)
    • Consultant, Chairman and Officer of a group of companies involved in the development of industrial minerals and petroleum reserves in North America and abroad since 1990
    • Assembled projects with reserves of ≈100 MMbbls of oil and 1.0 Tcf of gas in place, since 2006
    • Master’s Degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Manitoba (1967)
  • Dr. Allan R. Reimer

    As Chief Operating Officer, Fund Management, Dr. Reimer brings over 17 years of experience in financial analysis, market research, and financial services to PanAm. Some of his experience and achievements include:

    • Various leadership and project management roles
    • Senior Market Research Manager at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals
    • Vice President of Product Development at Nymox Pharmaceutical
    • Equities Analyst at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Ltd.
    • Consultant and Associate at Investors Group
    • MBA in Finance from the University of British Columbia, BSc in Physics from the University of Alberta, and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Alberta
  • Michael Corak

    As Vice President of US Operations and Acquisitions, Mr. Corak brings over 40 years of oil and gas and related experience. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Significant experience with Texaco's offshore and onshore drilling and production programs with emphasis on directional drilling as well as secondary recovery water flood projects
    • Chief Petroleum Engineer for Montana Power, responsible for the company’s 100 well per year drilling program in the Rocky Mountain region and Canada
    • President of Old Oak Energy LLC, providing consulting services to the oil and gas industry including drilling, production and reservoir and property valuations of multi-billion dollar acquisition programs
    • Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology. Set several deep drilling records and holds two patent submissions for oilfield equipment design.
  • Carl von Hohenzollern

    As Vice President of Renewable Energy and Environmental Governance, Mr. von Hohenzollern brings over 20 years of business experience. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Significant involvement and hands on experience as a General Manager and Officer of farming and industry enterprises in Germany and Canada
    • Presently is engaged in the investigation and development of operating and marketing bases for renewable and sustainable energy projects in Europe and North America
    • Graduated from the Agricultural Institute in Sigmaringen, Germany

    As an Advisor, Mr. Brundrit brings over 40 years of oil and gas experience to PanAm. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Significant experience serving on the boards of public and private companies
    • VP Exploration, Shell Canada (1990-97); Head Strategist Upstream, Royal Dutch/Shell Group (1994-97)
    • Supervised the team that found the Caroline gas field in Alberta - one of the largest conventional gas discoveries
    • Master’s in Nuclear Physics from the University of Manitoba

    As an Advisor, Mr. Davis brings over 40 years of experience in geological interpretation as an exploration geophysicist. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Significant involvement worldwide with Gulf Oil in seismic interpretation
    • President of Ken Davis Exploration Consultants with a large clientele including: Penn West Petroleum, BP Canada, Petro Canada, Husky Oil and Talisman Energy
    • Graduated from the University of British Columbia majoring in Geology and Geophysics
  • Nick Busink*

    As an Advisor, Mr. Busink brings over 35  years of financial experience in industrial, trading and banking environments. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Started his professional career as Manager Project Finance at a global industrial plant contractor in Duisburg, Germany
    • Former Senior VP and Global Head of international corporate business at one of Germany's top five banks
    • Former Head of Structured Finance at Glencore International AG, the global natural resources group based in Switzerland, originating and overseeing a multibillion USD portfolio of structured, asset based loans
    • Running his own corporate finance boutique since 2005; also a dedicated social entrepreneur, partner in Heart Capital PTY Ltd., Cape Town, South Africa's leading impact investment and venture capital company
    • Obtained a degree in finance and business administration from Erasmus University, Rotterdam

    As an Advisor, Mdme. Rousseau brings over 20 years of business experience to PanAm. Some of her experience and achievements include:
    • 1992-94, Head of the German office of Guy Laroche (French couture house)
    • Since 1995, various positions at Ralph Lauren, including women's sales manager for German speaking countries and northern Europe, Head of the German Office
    • Currently VP Sales for Ralph Lauren Corp (Women’s Wear Brands, Apparel & Accessories for Europe, Middle East and Africa)
    • Graduated from Law School, Grenoble University, Grenoble, France 1990

  • Edward Fercho

    As a Consultant, Mr. Fercho brings over 50 years of oil and gas experience in drilling operations and management. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Senior partner and president of Canadian Petroleum Engineering
    • Extensive experience in Canada and internationally in both onshore and offshore drilling
    • Former drilling supervisor for BP Canada in the Arctic and later joined BP International as the offshore drilling Superintendent
    • Former VP of Operations for Dome Petroleum Canmar division
    • Currently active in project management and supervision for both domestic and international exploration and development drilling projects
  • Ronald K. McCosh

    As a Consultant, Mr. McCosh brings over 30 years of oil and gas experience as an industry drilling professional. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Engaged to work for Dome Petroleum in Operations planning and drilling wells in Western Canada and the Beaufort Sea, recently being contracted by Shell Alaska on their Beaufort Sea project
    • Expertise in vertical and horizontal drilling led to significant cost savings and cost-effectiveness for his clients
    • Active member of the Canadian Association of Drilling Engineers (CADE), and the Petroleum Society and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)
    • Mechanical Engineering Graduate from the University of Waterloo, Ontario
  • Ron G. Bray

    As a Consultant, Mr. Bray brings over 40 years of oil and gas experience in geology and management in both onshore and offshore projects in Canada and abroad. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Significant experience in the exploitation of oil in Canada, Russia and former Soviet Union countries
    • Employed by Texaco specializing in geological assessment and development of underground gas storage reservoirs in Canada and the United States and later in the U.K., where his expertise was utilized in International and North Sea exploration projects
    • Engaged and retained by the Danish government as an advisor in oil and gas licensing negotiations
    • Co-founded Canadian Petroleum Engineering by mid 1980's where he remains a partner
    • PhD. in Geology, graduating in 1971 from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario
  • Neil K. Cusworth

    As a Consultant, Mr. Cusworth brings over 28 years of oil and gas experience as a professional Landman. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Former President of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen
    • Area Landman for Canadian Natural Resources acting as key negotiator on over 25 corporate acquisitions
    • District Landman for Imperial Oil Limited directly involved in the strategic development of the acquisition of exploration projects
    • Senior Landman for Apache Canada in land negotiations in both northwest Alberta and British Columbia
    • Bachelor of Business Administration, Petroleum Land Management, University of Oklahoma
  • Glen L. Nazaruk

    As a Consultant, Mr. Nazaruk brings over 25 years of work experience in Energy Law, Corporate and Commercial Law and in oil and gas as a professional Landman. Some of his experience and achievements include:
    • Currently practices with law firm of Burstall, Winger, Zammit in Calgary, Alberta
    • Experienced Landman and member of the Canadian Landman's Association
    • Extensive experience in oil and gas transactions
    • Taught courses in oil and gas contracts and mineral lease administration at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, Alberta
    • Professional affiliations with the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen, and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administrators
    • Acts as legal counsel for the PanAm Energy Group as well as being a Director of the General Partner
    • Master's Degree (Laws of Energy and Environment) from Tulane University and Bachelor Degree in Law from the University of Ottawa
